Okanagan – Where to Stay – Walnut Beach Resort

Heading to the Okanagan? My top suggestion on where to stay to get the most of your trip is Walnut Beach Resort. In the heart of Osoyoos this destination is a must for a romantic getaway, adventure with the family, golf or wine tasting trip with friends and even a fabulous wedding destination! From a secluded private beach to a comfy suite equipped with a full kitchen, this resort has it all!

This resort is full equipped with a beautiful beach facing pool, 2 large hot tubs overlooking the water, multiple bbq’s available for use, a small gym and even a sauna and steam room! They have a lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and wine bar, as well as WakePilot set up outside for full use of stand up paddle boards, boat charters, jet skis and more!

The rooms were lovely, equipped with large balconies facing the lake, full kitchens, washer and dryer, dishwasher, king size beds with comfy bedding, a fireplace and more! We were so comfortable, you have everything you need to enjoy your stay whether it’s 1 night or a week! They even have free underground heated parking.

The location was perfect as well, close by to the dozens of local wineries, distilleries, horse back riding, golfing, Rattlesnake Canyon for the kids and a hop skip and a jump from tons of restaurants to choose from. Osoyoos is such a gorgeous and warm location so of course we had warm weather, warm enough for tanning on the beach even as Lake Osoyoos has the warmest lake in Canada! It was quiet and quaint which was perfect. We settled in nicely with a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board on the patio enjoying the view and sound of nature, such a great getaway from the cities hustle and bustle!

Looking forward to stay here next time we are in the Okanagan! Find out more and book your next holiday vacation here;
