Pub night! What’s your pub or bar of choice in Vancouver? Must haves for me are Happy Hour, a decent cocktail and bar menu, a little music, the sports games on, and of course, some tasty grub! Last night was my first time at Yaggers and I was pleasantly surprised! The bar was packed with sports fans watching the games, kitchen was busy with delicious finger licking eats. We got to try a wide range of menu items and they were all impressive! With fresh ingredients, sauces made by scratch, this is definitely a pub you want to check out.
My fav? By far the ribs, no lie they were fall off the bone and deeelicious, I ate them all myself of course, muahaha. They were dry rubbed, slow smoked, glazed St Louis style pork ribs, with brisket, baked beans, homemade and drool worthy corn bread, and a a super fresh tasting apple slaw.
We also tried the Mac and not so Blue Cheese with garlic bread, mmmm delicious, super cheesy, and you can definitely taste that hint of blue cheese and Gorgonzola on the massive macaroni noodles. The Cow burger was massive, and a 2 hander for sure with aged white cheddar and double smoked bacon, droool. Loooved the Maple Baha Q free range chicken wings, they have so many awesome flavours like Banjo Chipotle Bourbon and Jagermeister Glazed.
Looking for fun? They have games like BattleShip and Jenga, Trivia nights, Gameday specials, brunch, and fresh chilled Jager! I’ll be back for sure! Still gotta try their Yaggers Caesar! Be sure to check out both locations as they have different menus!
