Craft Beer Obsessed? Vancouver has been booming and growing exponentially in the past few years. I’ve been pretty keen on trying as many new beers as I can and logging them on my unTappd app but there are a few that will always remind my favourites. Parallel 49 has been a front runner for me in the Vancouver Craft Beer Industry since I first started drinking it 3 years ago. I tried the Parallelogram – Oatmeal Coffee Porter and and was hooked! I started off with a love for the darker beers, mainly Porters and Stouts but have been venturing out to anything and everything. When I tour around the local breweries I always seem to start off or end up at Parallel 49. Their tasting room started off small and intimate where I would always sit at the bar and grab a flight and chat to my neighbours. Now they’ve expanded to a massive tasting room, equipped with a fun outdoor patio and indoor food truck! If you haven’t tried their beer, I highly suggest it. They have fun artistic cans and bottles with a fun play on names and some amazing flavours.
Looking forward to finding some new fav beers in their collection, and to see what they come out with next. From their exclusive Beermosa, to their delicious radlers, stouts to Gypsy Tears, to a fav Old Boy, you gotta try it all!
